Shuvashis Biswas

I hold Bachelor’s degrees in both Civil Engineering and Architecture from reputable universities in Bangladesh. This dual qualification has provided me with a rare opportunity to understand both the technical and aesthetic aspects of the built environment. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong foundation in structural analysis, materials engineering, and architectural planning, complemented by hands-on training in design software.

My life is a canvas where structure meets soul. I sculpt forms, paint emotions, and compose melodies, each creation telling a story. In 2024, my sculptures graced the halls of Zilla Shilpokola Academy, and through words, I have written over 300 poems that breathe life into thoughts. Music accompanies my journey—I play the violin, piano, and guitar, translating feelings into sound. My work reflects harmony between art, architecture, and engineering.

My Architectural Journey

From my childhood, I have been deeply fascinated by buildings, temples, and structures of all kinds. Their form, scale, and beauty sparked my imagination and inspired me to draw them in my own way. What began as simple sketches soon became a lifelong passion for creating spaces that combine functionality with artistic expression.

I consider myself privileged to have nurtured this mindset early on—the ability to look at the built environment not just as static objects, but as living expressions of culture, history, and human ambition. This perspective encouraged me to draw lines beyond boundaries, exploring possibilities that challenge conventions and open new ways of thinking about architecture.

Architecture, for me, is more than design. It is the dialogue between structure and environment, between imagination and reality. Every project is a journey of blending creativity with technical precision, balancing aesthetics with engineering. Whether designing residences, commercial spaces, or urban infrastructure, my goal is always to create spaces that inspire, endure, and serve

CIVIL ENGINEERING

My Civil Engineering Journey

During my architecture studies, I gradually fell in love with civil engineering. My fascination began when I encountered the wonders of ancient architecture—majestic temples, churches, and monuments that stood as both works of art and feats of engineering. What inspired me most were the great structural achievements of history: Filippo Brunelleschi’s and Michelangelo’s domes, the intricate rock-cut Ajanta caves, the elegance of Mughal architecture like the Taj Mahal, the timeless Egyptian pyramids, and the enduring legacies of Greek and Roman structures.

I realized that architects of the past were not only designers of beauty but also problem-solvers of structure. They merged vision with engineering, creating monuments that continue to inspire humanity centuries later.

This realization motivated me to pursue civil engineering after completing my degree in architecture. With dedication and passion, I excelled in my studies—earning the 1st merit position in my class with a CGPA of 3.80 out of 4.00. Today, I am deeply in love with this field, which allows me to merge creativity with technical mastery, and history with modern innovation.

For me, civil engineering is not just a profession—it is a continuation of humanity’s legacy of building structures that inspire, endure, and serve generations to come

 SCULPTURE

My Sculpture Journey

My journey with sculpture began at a very young age. At just five years old, I discovered a deep connection with clay and form. I would often spend hours shaping figures—sometimes almost in a meditative state. Among my earliest works were models of the Statue of Liberty, Hindu deities, and many other forms that reflected both curiosity and imagination.

In school, sculpture quickly became my strongest form of expression, and I was recognized as one of the best in my class. Much of this passion was nurtured by my mother and brother, who always encouraged me to explore my creativity. I would collect clay and transform it into something meaningful, something alive with energy and detail.

This love for sculpture has remained with me throughout my life. Even today, I continue to create pieces that embody my emotions, inspirations, and cultural influences. In 2024, I had the privilege of exhibiting my work at the Zilla Shilpakala Academy in Chattogram, an experience that further strengthened my commitment to the art form.

 PAINTING

My Painting Journey

I was only three or four years old when I first discovered painting, and from that moment, it became the heartbeat of my life. No one taught me how to draw—I simply found myself absorbed in it, spending hours upon hours with colors and lines, almost as if in meditation. According to my mother, even before I learned letters in Bangla or English, I was already learning to express myself through painting.

Painting, for me, is not just a hobby—it is a way of living, breathing, and experiencing the world. Each brushstroke carries emotions, stories, and visions that words cannot capture.

For me, painting is life itself. I want to live within it every second of my existence—surrounded by colors, shapes, and imagination. It brings me freedom, peace, and endless possibilities. Whether on canvas, paper, or through experimental forms, painting connects me deeply to my inner self and to the world around me.

This journey has never been just about creating art—it has always been about living art.

MUSIC

From village hush to divine harmony — learning the language of music.

Inspired by Rabindranath’s songs, guided by Beethoven, Mozart and Bach — violin, piano and guitar as a path to peace

Music found me in childhood — Rabindranath Tagore’s songs opened a door, and the works of Beethoven, Mozart and Bach taught me a language of the heart. In my village there was no school, but I learned anyway: the violin gave me quiet, the piano opened new colors, and the guitar taught me simple truth. Here I share that journey. As a child in our village I had little chance to study formally, but I had a deep love for music. It began with the songs of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore — one melody at a time, my heart opened. Later I found myself drawn to the great composers: Beethoven’s courage, Mozart’s clarity, Bach’s order, and the quiet strength of church hymns. I began with the violin — a companion that taught me how to sit still and listen, to find peace in a single sustained note. From there I learned piano and guitar, each instrument revealing a different facet of the same language: harmony, rhythm, voice. Music became my prayer, my refuge, and my way to touch something divine. On this site I share my recordings, lessons and reflections — not as perfect mastery, but as a continuing journey. If music calls to you, come and join the quiet

PHOTOGRAPHY

My Photography Journey

In my childhood, I did not have a camera, yet I always carried one within — my “eye camera.” Through it, I learned to see and enjoy the beauty of nature. Whenever I felt frustration, I would turn to rivers, trees, and open skies. Nature gave me strength, renewed my spirit, and refreshed every part of me.

Later, during my university life, I was offered a photography course from the Department of Architecture. That course opened a new door, introducing me to the art of photography and the lifestyle of photographers — a life of patience, observation, and appreciation of moments.

Photography, for me, is not just about capturing images; it is about capturing feelings, memories, and the quiet dialogue between nature and the human soul. Each frame is a reflection of how I see the world — with wonder, gratitude, and peace.
